The first appointment sets the foundation for all the alterations. Come prepared and you'll leave with a clear plan. Here's what to bring.
The essentials
- Your wedding shoes: essential for setting the hem length. A few centimetres of heel changes everything.
- Your wedding-day lingerie: strapless bra, shapewear or skin-toned underwear, so the bust is fitted correctly.
Optional but helpful
- Your veil, belt or jewellery if you want to see the full look.
- Inspiration photos if you're considering a style change.
- Someone you trust to take photos and videos and help you remember the advice.
What happens at the first appointment
You put on the dress with your shoes and lingerie. I assess the fit, take measurements and pin the changes. We talk about what you'd like, then I give you a precise quote and the schedule for the next fittings.
